SAMPARC ABHINAV ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL, PATAN

SAMPARC Abhinav English Medium School started in the year 2007, at village Patan is a primary school for poor and needy children of Maval Taluka. In 2006, Jimmy Carter and Habitat for Humanity along with SAMPARC developed 100 houses for Women Member of SAMPARC Self Help Group. Later, a School building was constructed comprising of 8 rooms and 1 common Community Hall, 1 Office room, separate toilet and washroom along with playground. SAMPARC is the licensee of the project. At present the school has 139 students – 68 boys and 61 girls from nursery to 5th std. The school is recognised by Education Department, Government of Maharashtra.

All National and Cultural festivals are celebrated in the school and all the students participate with enthusiasm. Students are encouraged to participate in various competitions like Rangoli, Dance, Mehandi, Fancy dress, Elocution, Singing, Rakhi making, Flag making, Lantern making, Recitation etc.

Students also take part in Sports competitions like Running race, Kabaddi, kho-kho, Sack race, Lemon & spoon race etc.

The school is working under the guidance of Principal Shri Chetan Deshmukh along with  teachers,  clerk and caretakers.
