SAMAPRC aims to change the life of under privileged youth from below poverty level and from social and economic backwardness to develop the youth for skill development, to help them to gain confidence and to make them employable.While working in the community, Mr. Banerjee came across many rural school dropouts. Looking at the challenge for the development of the youth, it was decided to start Vocational Training Program for the rural school dropouts in the year 1994 at Bhaje village in a 2400 sq.ft room for welding, electrical wiring and Tailoring course. In 2007 additional courses like Motor Winding, Computer and Fashion Design were added to the training program.
The Vocational Training Centre aimed from the beginning to train rural school dropouts especially from the weaker sections. The centre has trained more than 4500 rural school dropouts from surrounding 45 villages. More than 80% students are employed in the different nearby industries in MIDC in Pimri, Chinchwad, Talegaon, Lonavala, Khopoli, Panvel, Roha. The centre has also tied up with Lonavla and Talegaon industries, and Maval Panchayat Samiti for the training of the students from the below poverty level.
Mr. Vikas (name changed) is one such example. He belongs to poor family. After completing 12th Commerce and basic MS-CIT course, he could not take up higher education. He wanted to support his family financially but was unable to find a job. As he continued searching for his job, he came to know about SAMPARC VTC through his instructor cum neighbor Mr. Eknath Sangle. Immediately he enrolled in “Account Assistant using Tally” course for six months. He worked very hard and completed the course. Today he is working with Indian Railways and is getting a salary of Rs. 18000/- per month and is able to take care of his family.
SAMPARC Vocational Training Centre is working to help many such rural youth. During the academic year 2015-2016, 689 students received training in different Industrial and Vocational Training courses conducted in the centre.
More than 4000 children already trained.
More than 1500 students are employed in the industrial setup in Pimpri Chinchwad, Chakan, Khopoli, Rasayani and Lonavla. It is now a well-known institute in Maval taluka Dist Pune.
Over 75% of trained students got employed or have started own business and become self-dependent.
At present in Maharashtra, for boys, SAMPARC provides Central Government recognized courses -ITC in Welding and Electrical Wireman courses and State Government recognized courses like Welding, Electric wireman, Armature winding, MSCIT and Computer. SAMPARC with the help of Kothari Foundation started Vocational Training Centre for girls in the same premises in Malavli. For girls SAMPARC provides State Government recognized courses in Beauty Culture course, Basic Food Production, Shivan Kartan course in Tailoring, MSCIT and Computers. Also training for girls is provided in Advance Beauty Parlour Course and Advance Fashion Design Course which enabled SAMPARC to bring a change in the life of more than 500 students every year for gainful employment or to be self-employed. The centre is working under the guidance and leadership of Mr.N.R.Joshi along with a team of expert trainers. Present Provision for the student to admit in the following courses conducted in SAMPARC VTC CENTRE, Malavli near Lonavla, Maharashtra.

Library: The students have library for reference books.
Education Trip: 1 educational trip to the nearby industry per session
Infrastructure: The centre is equipped with required Infrastructure – Tools and Machinery, as per the norms of the Government.
Practical oriented: The centre has individual practical set up for all courses for the students.
Guest Faculty: The centre invites Guest Faculty and also experts from industries to provide more exposure to the students.
Placement: Nearby industries approach SAMPARC to provide skilled manpower. Centre also arranges in plant training for the students in placement industries.
The Vocational Training Centre was running in the corrugated tin fabricated structure comprised of 4000 sq.ft area in SAMPARC Malavli centre near Lonavla. SAMPARC received donation from Bajaj Foundation and to complete the 2 storey building the fund is required which will be really good support for students attending Vocational Training in welding, electrician, 2 wheeler motor repair, armature winding and computer courses. It is most essential for SAMPARC to complete the construction to meet the requirement for students.
